Software can work really well if you have simple tax affairs and don’t want to improve on your financial position – In the box-shops, you will drop off your papers and they could be completed in another state or even another country by people who don’t know you – and for a flat fee or a % of your refund,  your tax return will be bundled with the thousands of other nameless returns and submitted.
